Well, what do you know?

Okay, here they are, the first copies of my novel.

It’s kind of awesome, being able to hold the book in my hands.  I picked on up to read through it, basically to check out the printing and the binding and all the technical stuff, but you know, I found myself getting caught up in the story.  This is the first time I’ve really let myself do that, to just read the damned book.

I’m enjoying it, a lot–and I know how it ends.

Son of a gun–maybe I’m a writer after all.

Yea, does feel good. Even better when the first royalty payment arrives.
