I have decided that I am going to use a couple of KDP free days over this weekend. Saturday and Sunday, the 12th and 13th, I will be offering both of my e-books for free on Amazon.
Obviously it’s not enough lead time to do a huge promotion, or get listed on any of the big Free Kindle Book lists. I’ve picked up some new social media followers, though, and I figure that I give people who read my blog but haven’t picked up my books a chance to get them for free.
Plus, I want to see what my numbers are going to look like from just being listed on Amazon’s site as free. I’ve only got two reviews on Cannibal Hearts so far and while they are both five star, which is nice, I’d love to see what some new people think of it.
So, Saturday and Sunday. If you’re curious about my work, here’s your chance.
Good luck. I’ll keep an eye out for word of it and reblog to help.
Thanks.
Looks like you have three, but mine is on Amazon UK; I could have sworn they cross-pollinated.
For some reason it looks like Amazon UK is treating the kindle and paperback versions of Cannibal Hearts as separate books. Something to look into when I get back from work.

Don’t miss your chance to get free stuff. Obviously I recommend paying the few dollars, but this is the next best thing.
Thanks.
Regarding the UK Reviews … I discovered a couple of weeks ago that they don’t cross-pollinate. As for offering it for free … you will get some reviews out of it and if the free days are successful enough, it will produce additional sales after the free days are over.
Interestingly enough, the Canadian site shows no reviews listed by the title, but the US reviews show up at the bottom of the page.
I never thought the reviews would be different from country to country on Amazon. I don’t remember why I did it, but for some reason I checked the UK site and saw those eleven reviews and was stunned.
I suppose that’s just for the kindle? I will purchase the paperback at some point. You’ve piqued my curiosity 😀
Yes, the Kindle editions. However, even if you don’t have a Kindle, there are reader apps for just about anything.
Wow! That is soooo cool! You know I have to have them…and then I just might get the audio books anyway for when we are on the boat 🙂
You can pick up the Kindle versions this weekend, and that will let you get a reduced rate on the audiobooks.
Thanks for the tip 🙂
